Miers on HIV Discrimination?

Over at SCOTUS Blog, Lyle Denniston has a great post about Harriet Miers's substantive responses in the Senate Judiciary Committee's questionnaire. At the end, he notes some responses Miers gave in 1989 to a questionnaire sent by the Eagle Forum to Dallas City Council candidates. She answered "no" to the following two questions:

"Would you support an ordinance that would force individual property owners and businesses to provide accommodations to persons with AIDS (acquired immune deficiency) and those perceived to have AIDS?"
"Would you support an ordinance that would force businesses to hire persons with AIDS and those perceived to have AIDS?"
